The Fatima Home Visitation Apostolate is a project of Ireland Needs Fatima. Started in 2004, the project aims at bringing Our Lady of Fatima and her message of conversion, prayer and penance into every home in Ireland.
The original Pilgrim Virgin statue was made in 1947 under the direction of Sister Lucia dos Santos, the oldest of the seers to whom Our Lady appeared.
The custodians take the statues to homes, schools and nursing homes to offer people a few hours of prayer and devotion in the presence of the beautiful statue of Our Lady of Fatima.
Throughout Ireland Needs Fatima‘s history of bringing the statue of Our Lady of Fatima into homes, custodians have personally witnessed the profound effect Our Lady’s visit has had on souls.
